My daughter Emma and I will often sit around, play cards, or just chat, and… make playlists. This started a long time ago, but the playlist game has withstood the test of time.
Here’s how it works: One of us creates a playlist with a silly or stupid name (like cardbored), and places one song on it. And then, we pass the torch back and forth, each having to respond to the other’s addition — all in the name of creating a playlist that is cohesive, at least in our own brains.
So, here we are with cardbored. Why cardbored? ‘Cause we had just gotten finished recycling a lot of cardboard, and we were bored. It was Friday night, and we ended up sitting around, chatting and making and listening to this playlist for about 1 1/2 hours.
A great way to spend the evening!
