When I hung out with Max Cooper last week at Starbuck’s before the DJ Shadow concert, I was telling him how much I loved his new DJ compilation on fabric presents Max Cooper, and I was, like, “Yo, who you hang out with, yo?”
He was, like, “I’m kind of an electro nerd, you know? Mostly drum ‘n’ bass cats. You know….” And we talked for almost two hours about DnB, DnB-adjacent artists and all things electronic.
