I started talking about IT’S THE LONG GOODBYE shortly after it was released in March. The album is so powerfully loud and melancholy that it’s actually a little hard to reconcile the listening experience.
This is a great album, and it may be, at least for me, the most accessible album of theirs. These are beautiful and loud songs filled with some serious pain, grief, and sadness.
It’s not an album to be listened to every day, but be prepared to be moved by it when you do!
