The story of Danger Mouse’s mashup of Jay-Z and The Beatles is worth checking out. In short, Jay-Z thought it was cool, Paul and Ringo thought it was cool, but EMI didn’t, so you’ll have to find a copy somewhere like Discogs, a used record store, or a friend. If you can get your hands on one, do it right away! Truly, you will be a happier person if you listen to this super cool album: Jay-Z’s a cappella The Black Album on top of samples from The Beatles White Album.
