Noah Kahan’s new album may be his best yet. And Dashboard is simply a great song.
This guy just got married, but if this album isn’t a breakup album, I don’t know what it is. I mean, he sure sounds pissed off.
Here’s the recipe: Start with an angry Noah and season it with a mopey Bon Iver. Add in your sad Bright Eyes, Zach Bryan + Kacey Musgraves, and Lauryn Hill. Saute until translucent. Crumble up the sausage and cook with a murderous SZA. Finish it with Robyn’s upbeat break-up dance anthem zest.
Serve immediately over gnocchi. ‘Cause, you know, you gotta gnoch a coupla skulls after a break up.
