This song (and entire album) was one of my anthems when I was growing up, and since I think I’m still growing up, it’s still my anthem, at least when the warmer weather comes.

I don’t hit things, like, never. But since I was young, I’ve had an angry demon inside of me. This music soothes my inner demon, saying, “Dude, it’s OK. Be angry. But you’re not the only angry guy in the world, and you’re probably not the angriest guy either. In fact, are you even angry any more? Chill.”

Cool. I’m chillin’, listenin’ to some raw 1980’s punk rock anthems with my windows down and the volume all the way up to 11. And, I realize that maybe I’m not the angry guy that I once was.
